A recent news talks about bingo coming to Hampton. However, do not get ready with your daubers for it is going to take at least 2 months according to Anthony Fusco of Ocean Gaming. Fusco seems to be really excited for offering this game at his gaming facility. He said the locals of the place had wanted to play bingo from quite some time.
Tuesday, the voters approved warrant Article 30 by a vote of 1,532-683 votes. This was a wide margin compared to the same warrant article for last year, that seemed to have failed by a thin margin of 1,532-1,516. Fusco stated that the only reason the same article warrant could not be passed was the misinformation reached out to the voters saying that they would bring in full scale casino to Hampton.
On explaining the details of New Hampshire’s charitable gaming program, Fusco stated that people know about the benefits. As per the state law, 35% of the state proceeds coming from game of chance must go to a charitable organization.
He further added saying that adoption of bingo and Lucky 7 is a wonderful thing for all charitable organizations. And, the major benefit is that bingo players will not have to leave Hampton for entertainment purposes and this in turn boosts the tourism and commerce of the place. The timeline for the set up is not yet fixed, however Fusco stated that the host will have to give the state a 60 days notice of what charities will be on tap. And, in this turnaround time, the organization will undergo a state background check.
